Koder is an on-demand service that connects startups and entrepreneurs with teams of the elite developers and designers using a monthly subscription model. Through the Koder service, anyone can get an elite team of designers and engineers to build their next idea, meticulously managed by a Silicon Valley or LA-based Product Manager and CTO. See how it works.
Koder is a subscription service that offers you the ability to pay-as-you-go with a monthly subscription. There's no longer a need for hourly billing or large fixed-fee projects. See Pricing to see our subscription plans.
Koder uses subscription billing instead of hourly billing. We think the hourly billing model is broken as it only benefits the developer receiving hourly compensation without guaranteeing results. This is why we're disrupting the consulting industry with our unique Developers-as-a-Service platform.
Absolutely. We understand many sleazy consultants take advantage of companies at times. We're happy to provide a fixed-fee estimate for your project to help you predict costs and plan your budget. Please request an estimate.
Technically, it was a little more than 3 minutes but it was just a proof of concept. A real app takes a bit longer than 3 minutes. See VentureBeat and Gizmodo's coverage.
Unfortunately, no. In order for us to bring the very best, most elite engineers to your project, Koder
assembles teams based on skillset and not based on location. Many of our Koders also work at companies like
Microsoft and Google and have a limited schedule. In addition, teams are composed of Koders
living in different states or working at different times of the day.
If working onsite is important to you, you may want to consider outsourcing or a staffing agency.
Koder's office is in Irvine, CA and in San Francisco, CA. While many of our team members and Koders live in Silicon Valley and Southern California (Los Angeles, Venice, Irvine), many Koders reside in different parts of the world.
Because our Koders have to eat, we can't work in exchange for equity alone. However, in 2017, we're investing up to $500K in 12 exceptional startups to help reduce the overall cost of development. If you're an exceptional founder or startup, please get in touch to be considered.
See previous question.
Every project follows the Koder agile methodology which includes weekly demos where Koders share their progress, giving you a glimpse at the final product. All subscriptions come with the ability for you to provide feedback after every weekly demo if you change your mind or your users request something different.
The details of every project are confidential and are only visible to the Koders working on your project. From time to time, we may feature certain projects on this website but we'll ask for your permission if your project is selected.
Absolutely. You will receive the source code to everything built by your Koder team and will receive a perpetual license if any existing component was used to assemble your project faster.
Absolutely. Just share the design with your Product Manager at the start of the project. For fixed-fee projects, please let us know when requesting a quote. This will definitely speed things up and save you money.
Unfortunately, we only work with exceptional engineers. If you are exceptional, please apply right away.
Please get in touch using our Contact page. We'd love to hear from you.
